Ok, he made the HORRIBLE (unneeded, uncalled for) remake of Planet of the Apes, but IMO, Tim Burton has produced more good work then bad.
Ed Wood is great, Pee-Wee's Big Adventure, Batman Returns, Beetle Juice and Edward Scissorhands are excellent and my personal favorite is the animated The Nightmare Before Christmas.
So of course I was excited to see the first trailer to Corpse Bride, which is being called a companion piece to Nightmare, which you can see here.
(you know, after seeing this I can almost forgive him for making yet another, unnecessary remake. This year's upcoming Willy Wonka.
Well .... almost.)
